Working for heat is a direct translation of the Portuguese idiomatic expression - “trabalhar para aquecer” - which, very roughly, translates into working to no avail. Working for Heat

Working for Heat is a short-story collection, of humurous tales of the working world. It's a direct translation of the Portuguese expression Trabalhar para aquecer, which roughly means, working to no avail.
